Terrace Saint-Hubert is located in the heart of the Plateau Mont-Royal, one of the liveliest and most popular neighborhoods in Montreal. The property is located about 20-30 minutes by car from Montreal International Airport and about 1h – 1h20 from our chalets.
Only 10 minutes walk from the Terrace Saint-Hubert, the Mount-Royal Park is one of the city's greatest oasis of nature offering an amazing biodiversity. Take to the trail at this Montreal attraction which is perhaps more of a walk than a hike, but which—with its ample trees, decent incline and stunning view of the city—will still get you sweating. This arboreal oasis is beautiful at all times of the year, and the well-maintained path means you don’t have to worry too much about your winter hiking gear being up to snuff. While there are paths that wind in every which way, you also have the option of off-roading it if you want a real rugged experience.
Terrace Saint-Hubert is a very nice property, well maintained and clean. Chic interior, modern and comfortable. Comfy beds and the rooftop is pretty cool - my 15 yr old loved it! The neighborhood is great, so close to everything, 4 minute walk to metro and shopping.
We had the great pleasure of renting Saint-Hubert for one month. After a few days, it really felt like home. It is beautifully decorated and our host, Nicolas, was extremely responsive to all our needs. The perfect place from which to explore Montreal.
We highly recommend it!!!
This property is Amazing! It is like living inside a work of art. The house is also incredibly appointed with everything you need and more. The location can’t be beat! On a quiet side street less than 2 blocks to the heart of the plateau and Mont Royal. Bars, restaurants, shopping and dog parks all outside you door. Treat yourself to this luxury home!
This was a very quiet home even though it’s in the middle of the city. The house was very comfortable from couch to bed, tv to kitchen. Hot water was abundant with strong water pressure. Steps were lit which was fabulous when traversing at night. Very private. The house was the best part of Montréal.
Perfect location, right off of Mont Royal near two different Metro stations. Nicolas was easy to communicate with, check-in was very smooth and the listing was accurate! Would highly recommend!
This amazing home is in a beautiful neighbourhood. This home is so unique it’s hard to describe! Every detail is so well designed and so carefully thought out. We had every amenity we could have imagined plus access to one of the nicest neighbourhoods in the city. Loads of restaurants, shopping, cafes and transportation. Totally charming. Make sure you pay attention to the parking rules and suggestion to push your car mirror in! The street is quaint but narrow!
Thanks Joey for staying at Terrace Saint-Hubert... Have a safe trip back home and see you soon another time!
Wow, wow, wow. What a great stay! The space is gorgeous, the neighborhood charming, the beds comfortable… we wanted to move in! Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are perfect. And the area was so much fun to wander! 11/10.
Thanks Jenny, the pleasure was ours to welcome you at the house and we are looking forward to hosting you soon again!
Perfect location, with 2 STM stops close by, along with easy access to shops and dining. The apartment itself was spacious and fully equipped. We loved the rooftop terrace for our cinq a sept! We will be back. A lovely place to stay, and a gracious host. Excellent communication.
Thanks Tracy, have a safe trip back home and see you soon!
One of the nicest VRBO properties we've stayed in. Luxury, great location, well-stocked kitchen, excellent communication with the host. The house was restored for the owner to live in so everything was done right. The city garden and the rooftop deck were also exceptional. Thank you, Nicolas.
Amazing house and perfect location!
Everything was good , owner very respectful
All was as expected. The location can’t be beat.
Lovely home in a great neighborhood close to the Metro station. There are lots of places to eat within easy walking distance. The kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of space inside and out to relax. The unit was clean and beautifully decorated. Bathrooms were great and we really loved having a washer and dryer in the unit! There is ample street parking - just read the house instructions carefully to locate the “free” parking or buy daily neighborhood parking permits from a nearby convenience store. I would definitely stay here again when I am visiting Montreal with my family.
Amazing outdoor spaces, great central location, awesome place to stay
Beyond expectations. Nicolas is great host. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable!
This place is really wonderful, and in the perfect neighborhood of Montreal. Nicolas was a pleasure to communicate with throughout.
As a native from Montreal living abroad, the location, comfort , space is perfectly representative of Montreal lifestyle . Any season is a great house to be in.
What a spectacular and elegant place, even better than the pictures show. It is spacious and relaxing, beautifully decorated. You can’t beat the location, right in the heart of Plateau Mont-Royal. The entertainment system was a little tricky to learn how to use but worked great once we got the hang of it. Nicolas is very responsive and friendly. This is one of the best places we’ve stayed at and would recommend it without hesitation!
This house is beyond expectations. LOVED the kitchen. Nicolas had everything needed and then some! Bed was extremely comfortable and my husband enjoyed the outstanding tub! Would like to go back in the summer to experience the outdoor space both up and down! Love the place!
We rented this home to visit our MCGill son and host a small gathering for Thanksgiving. Was very thankful to find an amazingly stocked kitchen. (Sometimes homes claim that and it is not the case. ) this house had everything. The location was fabulous. Two blocks from shopping, restaurants and grocery store. Also 2 blocks from Metro and so we did not have a car and managed several grocery bag walks back and forth to accomplish our goals. Also we were easily able to travel all across Montreal for Hockey Game, Concert, great restaurants, and Christmas Market. This would be a great home to rent in warm weather as the roof top deck looked amazing. I had few questions during our stay and it was very easy to communicate and the owners were more than accommodating. We chose this home for 1. Kitchen. 2. Fireplace 3.location. All of those reasons made it a 5 rating!!
What a great property. Everything was exactly as promised. An amazing house with a spectacular rooftop terrace as well as a backyard. The kitchen is fully equipped (I mean fully) and the entire place was spotless. Nicholas leaves nothing unconsidered — all the technology works and there is a comprehensive guest guide explaining how to use it all. If you are from out of town you are in for a treat as the charming location (in the heart of the plateau) can simply not be beat; close to the metro, surrounded by other homes, parks and small stores. A total gem of a stay.
Nicolas's place is absolutely amazing. It is truly as you see in the listing images and is even more luxurious in person. The townhouse is fully-appointed with top-notch finishes, a collection of stunning artwork, beautiful morning/evening automatic lighting that emphasizes its many features and a gourmet kitchen that has absolutely everything one needs to prep and enjoy a meal from home. The rooftop terrace was a perfect place to enjoy cocktails and relax while taking in complete views of the city; the backyard off the kitchen with its automatic evening lights was gorgeous. The spa-like bathrooms made you feel like you were in a hotel and the beds were extremely comfortable.
From the moment we requested to book, Nicolas was attentive online with our queries and welcoming with information on local attractions, restaurants etc. When we arrived, any questions we had not posed were answered in a handy house manual and guide book which he has curated specially for the Plateau-Montroyal neighbourhood, a true gem in the summertime. Nicolas continued to check in on us after our arrival to make sure that we were settling in nicely which was much appreciated. If I reached out to him, he responded without delay.
Only steps away from the house, on Mont-Royal Avenue, there is every possible restaurant, pub and merchant helping visitors soak up the amazing culture that a Montreal summer has to offer. We chose Nicolas's home for a quick summer get-away and soon realized that once we parked our car, everything we wanted was within walking distance away, and knew that we had chosen well. We will definitely be returning to Terrace Saint-Hubert in the future!
Wonderful townhouse, feels true to the photos, prime Plateau location. Nicolas is a thoughtful host whose attention to detail was much appreciated.
Great house in a perfect location, thanks!
Nicolas's place was amazing. I stayed there for a month and a half while working in Montreal. It's clean, beautiful and near so many great restaurants and parks and bars and an easy bike ride away from my favorite famers market Jean Talon... It had wonderful outdoor areas, comfortable beds and everything you would ever need for long stays or even short stays... The neighborhood is excellent and outside the touristy area, yet a quick 10 minute bike ride to old town... Highly recommend...
A great place with beautiful design, very nice, just a little hard to find parking, but everything else is perfect.
Our stay at Nicholas' place was great. Lovely neighborhood. Beautiful garden (we'll have to come back when the water feature is working) and we loved the relaxing rooftop terrace and the deep soothing tones of the huge wind chimes. It's worth the climb! There's an incredible shower in the master bath that's like being caught in a downpour (where you could control the temperature of the water)! Alas, we couldn't figure out how to operate the jacuzzi bath tub. There was a remote control we didn't know about. Next time!
Great host! Fantastic location and place....5 star AirBnB...would stay there again!!!
Great experience with Nicolas. The house was immaculate and we couldn't have asked for a better host and place to stay. Highly recommended.
Nicolas was awesome. He greeted us on arrival, had the place cleaned and ready for us with a last minute booking. The property couldn't have been in a better location. Food, drink & sights are all within a 5 minute walk. A lot of outdoor space on on roof & backyard. Comfortable master bed. Useful appliances & beautiful finishes.
This is our second time staying at Nicolas' house in the Plateau. It's a great place. Well laid out, upscale and has everything you need to stay at home and cook (large stove and gas grill) or go out to eat. There are so many restaurants and shops just minutes from the flat. Nicolas was easy to work, responsive and focused on our comfort. We'll definitely be back again next year!
Nicolas was v professional, took care of everything perfectly
Nicolas was called out of town unexpectedly but Ines met us and got us situated perfectly. Nicolas checked with us often to make sure that everything was going well for us. The house was absolutely beautiful and in a terrific location. The house is more beautiful than the pictures. We had a wonderful holiday and the house made our stay perfect. We would definitely stay here again!
Our arrival was delayed but Nicolas was very accommodating and was waiting at the apartment. The place was immaculate and the photos were true to life. The place is very professionally managed with all the details and necessary information clearly available including interpretation of the complicated street parking puzzle. The apartment is in a fantastic neighborhood and only a short ride away from other parts of Montreal. We look forward to staying here on a return trip, preferably one where the weather cooperates so we can utilize the rooftop grill. Thanks again for everything.
This spectacularly beautiful house is in one of Montreal's hippest neighborhoods--so many interesting shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Nicolas was away when we arrived, but he had a friend greet us and show us everything we needed to know about the house. We LOVED the garden--where we had breakfast every morning and drinks in the evening, when the lights came on automatically and the waterfall started to flow. The kitchen is amazing--lovely and well-stocked. The house is filled with art and beautiful objects. Nicolas was in touch with us by text, and he greeted us with a bottle of wine, which we enjoyed in the garden. Simply a WONDERFUL place!
Nicolas' place was exactly as appeared in photos. Great decor and area!
Nicolas was a great host! His house is beautifully decorated and full of amenities. The location is within walking distance to all the major areas and a short drive to most spots. Our small group made use of both his outdoor deck and rooftop deck which were both very relaxing and a perfect spot to just lounge around. We highly recommend staying here for a small group that is looking for a convenient location and a house that you can make as your own. Thanks Nicolas!
The house and host were just spectacular! The location, on the Plateau and a block or so in from Avenue du Mont-Royal, is just minutes away from so many great restaurants, patisseries, boulangeries, creperies, clothing stores, and markets. The house itself is large, warm, very well maintained and decked out with comfortable beds and stylish furnishings. The water fountain in the backyard was very relaxing in the morning with coffee and croissants. Later in the afternoon we ventured up to the roof deck for some early fall sunning and stole a quick nap on the comfie sofa. Nicolas met us at the house, showed us around and provided detailed instruction on the washer and dryer, security system, heating and AC, etc. It was only a short stay but we'll definitely be back.
Nicolas was an phenomenal host. He saw to every conceivable detail; we felt welcomed 'home'. Despite not being in the city to receive us, he had a friend come and hand deliver the house key, explaining all house details (how doors lock, how to run washing machine, etc), remaining 'on call' for us should we need any help. The house itself is not to be missed. Extraordinary space, beautifully designed and appointed. Stunning artwork. So much more satisfying that staying in a hotel. The beds are incredibly comfortable. (Nicolas even went out of his way to provide a new mattress for the second bedroom prior to our arrival). I would heartily recommend Nicolas's home for tranquil and inspiring accommodation while in beautiful Montréal.
Nicolas met us at the door with a smile, great instructions and good recommendations for enjoying the area. We got the sense that he wanted us to use his house just like it was our own. The place is spotless and has many fine architectural features and amenities such as a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, wood burning fireplace, fine art and luxurious bathrooms. The photos do not do justice to either of the outdoor areas - they are perfect additions to the contemporary living space. In summary, we found it both beautiful and comfortable! Located on a quiet street, the serenity of the house was hard to leave each morning but great to return to at the day's end. The location is convenient to great shopping and dining. The subway is just a short walk. Montreal is a very safe city but the sense of community in the Le Plateau district made it even more so. Everyone was friendly and quite forgiving of our inadequate French. Nicolas was the perfect host - helpful but not intrusive. He was always available by phone or text if we had a question. Be sure to ask for dining recommendations. He sent us to fine dinning in the old town (one that only had an address - no sign) and a great rooftop hotel bar overlooking the Montreal skyline. We would list any negatives but there just aren't any for this home.
My wife and I had stayed at Nicolas’ house for a whole week in the middle of June, and had a great experience. Nicolas is a gracious and considerate host. He greeted us in an his absolutely meticulous house, and it was stocked with every conceivable convenience. The house feels like a presidential duplex suite at a luxury boutique hotel sans the exorbitant price. There is a wonderful Japanese-style garden right off the living room, and a similarly gorgeous terrace on the roof with a great view of the city and total privacy. The master bedroom is dead-quiet even into the late morning — a great feature for a place located right in the middle of everything. The house is located a block-and-half from Avenue Mont-Royal, a major thoroughfare with all of the shops, bars, banks, and restaurants your heart desire, and a few blocks away from the Mont-Royal Metro (subway) station.
Montreal is a charming city, and it really grows on you the more you explore it. We walked and rode buses and metro everywhere, and had a great time. People — young and old — where universally helpful and gracious any place we went, including some older people who didn’t speak English — one older gentleman walked us a few blocks to the bus because he was concerned that we didn’t understand his directions. We highly recommend visiting Montreal and staying at Nicolas’ place to anyone seeking a romantic getaway or a total mind/body recharge!
