Newly renovated and added to the Chalets Zenya family, this beautiful cottage is a contemporary redesigned log cabin. It is located within the prestigious Domaine du Lac Fiddler, just outside of Morin Heights, in the Saint-Sauveur Valley. The chalet sits on a large private wooded lot, with an area of ​​over 65,000 sq.ft. Sheltered from neighbors and prying eyes, you have all the peace and privacy you need to completely enjoy your vacation. Hot tub and dry sauna for 8 persons available all year round. Private inground heated swimming pool available from early June to the end of September.

Last born of the Chalets Zenya family, Chalet Red Deer is a magnificent contemporary redesigned log cabin with a private in-ground heated pool, hot tub and outdoor dry sauna. It is located within the prestigious Fiddler Lake Resort, just outside of Morin Heights, in the Saint-Sauveur Valley. The chalet sits on a large private wooded lot, with an area of ​​over 65,000 sq.ft. Sheltered from neighbours and prying eyes, you have all the peace and privacy you need to completely enjoy your vacation. Relax at the cottage with your friends or family, enjoy many activities around and unwind in the hot tub and outdoor dry sauna (both open all year round). The heated in-ground outdoor swimming pool is accessible from June 1st to the end of September.

This very spacious chalet has 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. It can easily accommodate up to 12 adults. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, a dishwasher and microwave. Other amenities include a satellite TV, Wi-Fi, pool table, washer and dryer. The cottage has 2 indoor fireplaces and 1 outdoor firepit with comfortable chairs.

Booking Policy
  1. Base rate and additional fees:
    1. The base rate is for 4 people or less (additional fee of $50 per night per add person in low season or $100 per night per add person in high season).
    2. A cleaning fee of $200 applies for all rentals.
    3. We accept pets (maximum of 2 pets per rental) but an additional fee of $ 100 per pet applies for the hypoallergenic cleaning upon departure.
  2. Minimum stay:
    1. A minimum of 2 nights applies at all times.
    2. We do not accept daily rentals.
  3. Weekends:
    1. Weekend rentals are usually from Friday to Sunday (or Thursday to Sunday or Friday to Monday).
    2. No arrivals or departures are allowed on Saturdays.
  4. Number of persons:
    1. Customers agree to respect the number of persons mentioned in the rental agreement.
    2. Strict monitoring of the number of occupants is applied onsite. A penalty of $150 per night will be deducted from the security deposit for anyone not declared on the rental agreement.
  5. Payment formalities:
    1. A 50% reservation deposit by credit card is required when booking on our website in order to block the dates in the rental calendar and secure your reservation.
    2. The balance payment is due 15 days before your arrival date, either by e-Interac transfer (no fee) or by credit card (4% admin fee).
    3. A reimbursable security deposit of $ 2 000 will be temporarily frozen on your credit card 48hr before your arrival date and released on your credit card within 24hr/48hr of your departure, if no damage is found and the cottage is returned to the same condition as on arrival.
  6. Other applicable fees:
    1. A 4% admin fee applies to payments by credit card.
    2. A bank fee of $ 60 applies for international bank transfers.
  7. Arrival and departure times for Chalet Red Deer:
    1. Check-in is after 4pm.
    2. Check-out is at 11am.
Cottage rules

Please note the cottage rules that apply to all participants:

1. It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the cottage at all times. Smoking outside is allowed (a penalty of $1000 applies in the event of non-compliance with this rule);

2. For security reason but also to respect the serenity of the neighborhood and to preserve our sanitary installations, we expect the renters to respect the number of persons specified in the rental agreement at all times.

3. The Fiddler Lake Resort is a recreational site where tranquility is king. The use of RVs, ATVs, skidoos, motocycles and other motocross is strictly prohibited onsite. However, you can bring your ATV, skidoo or moto on a plateform to use it outside the domain (a penalty of $500 applies in the event of non-compliance with this rule);

4. For obvious security reasons, the use of fireworks is strictly forbidden at all times (a penalty of $1000 applies in the event of non-compliance with this rule);

5. No excessive sound is allowed outside the cottage or on the deck after 10pm (a penalty of $500 applies in the event of non-compliance with this rule);

6. The Lake Fiddler is an ecological lake where motor boats are forbidden. In order to avoid the blue algae (or other parasite) contamination from other lakes, we ask you to only use the boats provided to you and not to bring your own;

7. Outdoor fires are only allowed in the covered firepit (a penalty of $1000 applies in the event of non-compliance with this rule);

8. The use of tents, RVs or any other camping installation is strictly forbidden onsite;

9. We are not responsible for any accident in the cottage, in the hot tub, at the swimming pool, around the cottage or at the lake;

10. Any subrental is totally forbidden;

11. Guests are expected to prevent excessive noise after 10pm;

By booking directly on our website or through any partner platform, you are deemed to have read and agreed to comply with these rules, as well as all the other participants of your group. In case of non respect by the guests of any of those rules, we will not hesitate to retain the whole security deposit.

The Chalet Red Deer (92) is located within the prestigious Fiddler Lake Resort, in the Laurentians. The area is located at the exit of the village of Morin Heights, about 1 hour from Montreal and only 15 minutes from the ski slopes of Saint-Sauveur. Note that Chalet Red Deer is independent from the Resort.

    Our Treetop walk at Sentier des cimes Laurentides is a new truly unique way to take in scenic views from above the trees. You will start the walk along a path that winds through the forest and up to the treetops. The walk ways and main tower, with a maximum slope of 6 degrees, are completely accessible to strollers and wheelchairs. From the top, you’ll have a breathtaking view of the rolling hills typical of the Laurentian mountain range, and landmarks such as Mont-Tremblant. The total distance including the tower walk is 2.7km round trip and takes about 2 hours.
