10 ideas for winter activities during Spring Break in the Laurentians!

The Laurentians region is the perfect place to make the most of winter! With its enchanting scenery, there’s no shortage of outdoor activities: snow tubing, skating, hiking… Young and old alike are sure to find something to do and return for more! With Spring Break just around the corner, it’s a good idea to start planning now to get the most out of your leisure activities.

1. Cross-country skiing

If there’s one region where snow, forests and mountains are abundant, it’s the Laurentians! Cross-country skiing is the perfect way to enjoy these picturesque landscapes.

Please note! Cross-country skiing is only possible in the Mont-Tremblant area and between Saint-Jérôme and Val-David. Other areas are reserved for snowmobiling!

Le P’tit Train du Nord is the destination for cross-country skiers, with over 40 km of trails between Saint-Jérôme and Val-David. Choose your itinerary to enjoy the sights and sounds along the old railroad!

It offers over 234 km of multi-functional trails along an old railroad line between Bois-des-Filion and Mont-Laurier. It’s the longest linear park in Canada! This emblematic symbol of the Laurentians passes through many lively towns and villages, including restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, cultural activities and heritage railway stations…

2. Downhill skiing
