Spread across two levels, the chalet features 3 bedrooms and a spacious garden-level playroom with foosball, perfect for families. It can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests. Enjoy cozy winter evenings with smart TVs for your Netflix nights, or unwind year-round in the outdoor spa and dry sauna. From May to October, a private dock invites you to explore the lake with 2 kayaks, a paddleboard, and a pedal boat.

Set on a secluded 45,000 sq. ft. wooded estate, Chalet Utopia ensures complete privacy and tranquility. Amenities include unlimited high-speed internet (Fiber 500/50), EV charger for your electric car, hotel quality beddings & bath towels, electric baseboard heating, a centrally monitored alarm system and an entrance security camera for your peace of mind.

In winter, while the private road is well cleared, a four-wheel drive vehicle is strongly recommended due to its slope.

    The main entrance to the cottage is located upstairs. As you walk in, you’ll find a convenient cloakroom and a spacious, modern, fully equipped kitchen featuring a dishwasher, coffee maker, Nespresso Original line machine, kids’ dishes, and more. The adjoining dining area includes a large table that comfortably seats 8–10 guests, set against a stunning 10-foot bay window with breathtaking lake views. A side door leads to the 3-season veranda, offering another dining space for 8 and a functional year-round gas BBQ.

    The living room is furnished with a queen-size convertible sofa bed, two comfortable chairs, free high-speed WiFi (Fiber 500/50) and an electric fireplace. Next to it, you’ll find a full bathroom with shower and a beautiful master bedroom with a king-size bed and lake views. All bedding is 100% cotton with hypoallergenic synthetic duvets for your comfort.

    The chalet is heated with electric baseboards and comes equipped with a washer/dryer and a vacuum cleaner. The area offers excellent 5G cellular coverage for reliable connectivity.

    For your safety, Chalet Utopia is protected by an alarm system connected to a central monitoring station, as well as a camera at the entrance. In winter, we strongly recommend arriving with an AWD vehicle: although the access road is always well cleared, it is sloped.

    On the garden level, you’ll find two bedrooms, each featuring a queen-size bed with 100% cotton linens and hypoallergenic synthetic duvets.

    This floor also offers a spacious living room with a smart TV connected to cable and Netflix, as well as a dedicated kids’ playroom with foosball, a chalkboard, and a variety of board games — all with beautiful views of the lake.

    This setup is perfect for families with children, and every room showcases stunning views of the surrounding nature.

  • Exterior layout

    The back door of the cottage opens onto a charming backyard featuring an outdoor fireplace (firewood provided — just bring your own newspaper and kindling), a 6-person spa, and a dry sauna for 4 persons, all accessible year-round. Upstairs, the 3-season screened veranda serves as a summer dining space for 8–10 guests, while a propane gas BBQ is available and functional throughout the year.

    Just a few steps from the spa area, you’ll find a large private dock on Lake Beaudoin, equipped with lounge chairs, 2 kayaks, 1 pedal boat, 1 paddle board, and 4 adult life jackets (available from May to October).

    Outdoor parking accommodates up to 4 vehicles. In winter, a 4-wheel drive vehicle is strongly recommended: while the chalet remains accessible at all times, the sloping access road may otherwise be inconvenient.

Booking Policy
  1. Base rate and additional fees:
    1. The base rate is for 4 people or less (additional fee of $75 per night per add person in low season or $100 per night per add person in high season).
    2. A cleaning fee of $200 applies for all rentals.
    3. We accept pets (maximum of 2 pets per rental) but an additional fee of $ 125 per pet applies for the hypoallergenic cleaning upon departure.
  2. Minimum stay:
    1. A minimum of 2 nights applies at all times.
    2. We do not accept daily rentals.
  3. Weekends:
    1. Weekend rentals are usually from Friday to Sunday (or Thursday to Sunday or Friday to Monday).
    2. No arrivals or departures are allowed on Saturdays.
  4. Number of persons:
    1. Customers agree to respect the number of persons mentioned in the rental agreement.
    2. Strict monitoring of the number of occupants is applied onsite. A penalty of $150 per night will be deducted from the security deposit for anyone not declared on the rental agreement.
  5. Payment formalities:
    1. A minimum deposit of 50% of the total amount, including taxes, is required by credit card at the time of booking to confirm your reservation in our system and secure the dates in the calendar.
    2. The remaining balance (50%) of the stay will be automatically charged to the credit card on file 30 days before your arrival date.
    3. A reimbursable security deposit of $ 1 500 will be temporarily frozen on your credit card 48hr before your arrival date and released on your credit card within 24hr/48hr of your departure, if no damage is found and the cottage is returned to the same condition as on arrival.
  6. Other applicable fees:
    1. A 4% admin fee applies to payments by credit card.
    2. A bank fee of $ 60 applies for international bank transfers.
  7. Arrival and departure times for Chalet Utopia:
    1. Check-in is after 4pm.
    2. Check-out is at 11am.
Cottage rules

Please note the cottage rules that apply to all participants:

1. It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the cottage at all times. A penalty of $1000 applies for smoking inside. Smoking outside is allowed;

2. For security reason but also to respect the serenity of the neighborhood and to preserve our sanitary installations, we expect the renters to respect the number of persons specified in the rental agreement at all times.

3. For obvious security reasons, the use of fireworks is strictly forbidden at all times;

4. No excessive sound is allowed outside the cottage or on the deck after 10pm;

5. Outdoor fires are only allowed in the covered firepit;

6. The use of tents, RVs or any other camping installation is strictly forbidden onsite;

7. We are not responsible for any accident in the cottage, in the hot tub, around the cottage or at the river;

8. Any subrental is totally forbidden;

9. Guests are expected to prevent excessive noise after 10pm;

By booking directly on our website or through our different plateforms, you are deemed to have read and agreed to comply with these rules, as well as all the other participants of your group. In case of non respect by the guests of any of those rules, we will not hesitate to retain the whole security deposit.

Chalet Utopia is located on the territory of Lanaudière, just 1 hour 15 minutes from Montreal.

In Winter: we advise you to opt for an AWD vehicle (4 wheel drive) or a SUV during the winter months. Make sure your vehicle is equipped with snow tires and that you have Traction-Aid (if needed) with you.
