Recently renovated and ready for rental as of December 15, 2025, Chalet Black Eagle is a stunning log cabin located waterfront with private lake access and dock in the prestigious Domaine du Lac Fiddler, just outside Morin Heights in the Saint-Sauveur Valley. Ideal for groups of up to 12 guests, the chalet offers a wide range of on-site and nearby outdoor activities. Nestled away from neighbors and prying eyes, it guarantees peace, privacy, and relaxation to make the most of your stay. Enjoy the perfect spa and outdoor dry sauna duo for ultimate relaxation. In summer, access the outdoor pool at the Resort (a 5-minute walk from the chalet), and enjoy the indoor pool year-round. The chalet also features a pool table, indoor and outdoor wood-burning fireplaces for cozy evenings.
This expansive chalet features 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms and 3 full bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 12 guests. The modern kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher and microwave. Additional amenities include satellite TV, high-speed internet (Starlink), washer & dryer. For added comfort, the chalet has heated floors on the garden level, an electric baseboard heating system upstairs, an air exchanger, and air conditioning. A central alarm system and security camera at the entrance ensure safety.

Please note the cottage rules that apply to all participants:
1. It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the cottage at all times. Smoking outside is allowed (a penalty of $1000 applies in the event of non-compliance with this rule);
2. For security reason but also to respect the serenity of the neighborhood and to preserve our sanitary installations, we expect the renters to respect the number of persons specified in the rental agreement at all times;
3. The Fiddler Lake Resort is a recreational site where tranquility is king. The use of RVs, ATVs, skidoos, motocycles and other motocross is strictly prohibited onsite. However, you can bring your ATV, skidoo or moto on a plateform to use it outside the domain (a penalty of $500 applies in the event of non-compliance with this rule);
4. For obvious security reasons, the use of fireworks is strictly forbidden at all times (a penalty of $1000 applies in the event of non-compliance with this rule);
5. No excessive sound is allowed outside the cottage or on the deck after 10pm (a penalty of $500 applies in the event of non-compliance with this rule);
6. The Lake Fiddler is an ecological lake where motor boats are forbidden. In order to avoid the blue algae (or other parasite) contamination from other lakes, we ask you to only use the boats provided to you and not to bring your own;
7. Outdoor fires are only allowed in the covered firepit (a penalty of $1000 applies in the event of non-compliance with this rule);
8. The use of tents, RVs or any other camping installation is strictly forbidden onsite;
9. We are not responsible for any accident in the cottage, in the hot tub, at the swimming pool, around the cottage or at the lake;
10. Any subrental is totally forbidden;
11. Guests are expected to prevent excessive noise after 10pm;
By booking directly on our website or through any partner platform, you are deemed to have read and agreed to comply with these rules, as well as all the other participants of your group. In case of non respect by the guests of any of those rules, we will not hesitate to retain the whole security deposit.
Chalet Black Eagle (02) is located within the prestigious Fiddler Lake Resort, in the Laurentians. The area is located at the exit of the village of Morin Heights, about 1 hour from Montreal and only 15 minutes from the ski slopes of Saint-Sauveur. Chalet Black Eagle is independently managed from the Resort but it has full access to its Recreational Center installations and activities.

Leave the car at the chalet, put on your hiking boots and go for a hike alone, with family or friends on the Domaine's many trails. Observe the abundant wildlife (deer, wild turkeys, foxes, blue jays, etc.) and take advantage of the fresh air to ventilate your body and mind in complete zen.
Morin-Heights has been synonymous with cross-country skiing for over 90 years. The Municipality maintains a network of cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails of 130 linear km. The narrow, hilly trails have a unique charm and make Morin-Heights a destination of choice.
To fully experience the fusion of a friendly atmosphere, activities for all tastes and ages, and an environment in nature, there is only the experience of the largest water park in the mountains! Located in the very pretty village of Val-David in the Laurentians, L’Épicurieux is a small neighborhood restaurant known for its fresh dishes and its menu that adapts to the seasons. The chef pays particular attention to fresh and local products, both in the dishes and in the desserts. The wine list is made up entirely of independent winegrowers. The beers, as well as all the alcohols used in the cocktails are made in Quebec.
Leave the car at the chalet and take advantage of a beautiful sunny day to go for a snowshoe hike, with family or friends, on one of the Domaine's many snowshoe trails. Traversed by the rivière à Simon, Strøm Nordic Spa Saint-Sauveur honours the Scandinavian tradition that is already well established in the Laurentians by opening on the site of the first Nordic spa in Québec, inaugurated in the 1960s. The Au Pied de Cochon sugar shack is the traditional meeting place. Close to local producers, the sugar shack is the culinary headquarters. This regional park located in Mirabel is one of the most beautiful forest areas in Quebec. You can walk in the paths or the large gardens and fish. Also, the Ornithology Club of Mirabel (COMIR) is proud to have its head office in the Bois de Belle-Rivière where it is possible to observe many species of birds. The club offers several activities to the general public.

In the Algonquin language, Kaaïkop means “bare, rocky, steep and high”. Formerly called Mount Legault, Mount Kaaïkop, at an altitude of 838 meters, is the third highest peak in the Laurentians. The grand tour offers a loop punctuated by splendid views of the other peaks in the region, including Montagne Noire and Mont Tremblant. We cross a dense forest of conifers before reaching its summit.

A classic for fall colors. The Grand Brûlé trail is a long climb punctuated by waterfalls, a beaver dam and several viewpoints over the village and Lake Tremblant. At the top, the most tired can take the gondola ($) or take one of the other trails that go down (Les Caps, 5 km, or the Vertigo, 6 km) or simply turn around. Parking fees at the Versant Sud Resort to be expected.

A round trip of less than 5 km with a rather modest elevation gain in a much less frequented sector of the park, what more could you ask for? From the belvedere, the panorama reveals an admirable view of the surrounding valleys. The ascent is made through a mature maple grove and the most attentive will note the presence of hemlocks, a rather rare species in this park. Starting point: Lac-de-L’Assomption picnic area, 15 km north of the L’Assomption information kiosk.

Our Treetop walk at Sentier des cimes Laurentides is a new truly unique way to take in scenic views from above the trees. You will start the walk along a path that winds through the forest and up to the treetops. The nearly one-kilometre path leads to the observation tower that rises 40 m (equivalent to a 12-storey building) above the forest to offer a stunning bird’s eye view of the Laurentian forests and mountains. The walk ways and main tower, with a maximum slope of 6 degrees, are completely accessible to strollers and wheelchairs. From the top, you’ll have a breathtaking view of the rolling hills typical of the Laurentian mountain range, and landmarks such as Mont-Tremblant. The total distance including the tower walk is 2.7km round trip and takes about 2 hours.

Le chalet est magnifique : Les meubles et la déco ont été choisis avec beaucoup de goût, la literie est très confortable, l’ensemble est très chaleureux, bien équipé et d’une grande propreté.
L’environnement extérieur est également superbe : en pleine nature avec vue sur le lac. Nous y avons vraiment vécu une parenthèse enchantée.
Nous avons également pu profiter du spa (jacuzzi et sauna), du billard et de l’ensemble des services offerts par la résidence.
Nous y retournerons, c’est sûr. Un grand merci aux propriétaires.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille dans ce chalet situé dans les Laurentides, avec une vue magnifique sur le lac Fidler. Le cadre est vraiment reposant et le chalet est très agréable, bien équipé et chaleureux.
Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le sauna et le jacuzzi, qui apportent un vrai plus pour se détendre. La résidence propose également de super activités accessibles à tous : le chalet commun est à seulement 1 minute à pied, avec un beau terrain de hockey, des terrains de pickleball une piscine intérieure et une salle de sport toute neuve, vraiment top.
Enfin, le propriétaire a été très réactif, disponible et à l’écoute de nos besoins tout au long du séjour, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus agréable.
Je recommande vivement ce chalet pour un séjour en famille ou entre amis !
